We're back!!!

Well, we are back and we have fantastic news! WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!!! We talked to Naomi from Adoption Link on Monday, March 2 about a baby boy from the Dayton area that was coming very soon. The birthmother had selected us, and she was only a couple of weeks away from her premature delivery. Given our horrendous track record, we kept very quiet and said virtually nothing to anyone. The week was full of ups and downs (and ups and downs, and ups and downs!) but to make a long, incredibly stressful story short, we are going to meet our baby boy on Sunday, March 8. He was born on Wednesday, March 4 and weighed 4 pounds, 8 ounces. By all accounts, he is doing very well. We can't wait to meet him! Because of his size he will likely be in the NICU for a few days, so we will be there until he is released most likely. The birthmother named him, and we have agreed to partially honor her wishes. He will be named Joel Aiden Jeffrey Foster. More to come.........
