Good news!

I just talked with the hospital and got some good news about our baby boy! I talked to his night nurse who said that he took his whole bottle in five minutes at his 9:00 feeding and she thinks they might take his feeding tube out sometime tomorrow! YEAH!!! Then he needs to go into a crib and then he is closer to coming home! She also told me that his biological grandmother was there tonight and that she was extremely broken up about not being a part of his life. She does admit that there is nothing she can so about it. I don't know if she is planning to come back and meet with us or not. I hope Courtney shows her the pictures we send after we get home. I was really angry with her for a while, but I can see how it would be devastating to know that you aren't going to see him again. This whole adoption thing is very, very hard all the way around, and you can only do what you think is best and go from there. I just hope he is released this week. I want the little guy home....NOW!!! Also, the night nurse said that he gained almost two whole ounces since last night and is now tipping the scales at a whopping 4 pounds, 12 ounces...a new record! More later tomorrow!(Hopefully I can blog about seeing my boy's face without a feeding tube sticking out of it! :0) )
